Evoke XVI - Zen

1 min read
It's time again for the latest exhibition release from Evoke. Let yourself meditate upon the unique stylings of release XVI, Zen. This pack is a step up in conceptualism, and has forced us to channel our creative chakras into the selection of artworks you will see in this pack. Let the music and imagery awaken your own senses as you browse over our carefully picked entries.

Zen's featured artist is musician Vitaliy Zavadskyy, a.k.a. NEO. You can check out some of his other work over on his youtube page. www.youtube.com/profile?user=V…
If you are a music appreciator at all, you won't want to miss this interview, be sure to check it out!

Signifying the release of Zen, we have become "invite only" regarding our artist entry policy. Joining our ranks before the application cut-off date, are new members aeiko, aeoll, enfero, and icdp.

If you are ready to experience some Zensational digital artistry, head over to Evoke now to observe pack 16, Zen!.

It's been a long wait, but it was worth it! Evoke proudly presents the public online art community with their 15th exhibition, Revolution! If you're tired of looking at the same boring every-day artwork, come on over to Evoke to refresh your artistic palate. Revolution features over 100 tasty submissions!   Props to some new players on the field making big debuts, kicking asses and taking names like Vitaliy Zavadskyy (NEO), Dawid Kiljan (xyypnoth), David Waters (ishbu). Along with our pack theme, Evoke has had an internal revolution as well: a change in tastes and expectations. Revolution is a benchmark pack and shows that Evoke constantly strives to raise the bar on digital art.

At the head of the Revolution is superstar Jonathan Wong! Taking our featured artist title this release, wong (a.k.a. Sick-Osiris) has shown us the proper way to press the boundaries of digital imagery. Be sure to show him some love and check out his latest submissions on his deviantART page, as well as read an intensive and candid interview brought to you exclusively by Evoke.

A news article simply can't sum up everything our latest release has to offer. Evoke administration would like to acknowledge a couple new artists and elements that have been introduced to our arsenal, with Andrew Mar (marak24) drawing up some traditional style madness, and Liam Frodsham (deei) painting his town abstract with his real graffiti art!

Hungry for a Revolution? Still wondering what this is all about? Stop reading and go check out Evoke - Exhibition XV!!

Best regards,
Tony Rivera aka d3vulge.

wow, it's already 2008. some say 2007 dragged on forever, but it pretty much flew by for me. 2007 i had lots of resolutions, crazy goals, most of them pretty selfish. i feel like 2007 has changed me alot, i thought i was going to do something big and crazy in 07, but nothing big or crazy happened at all! unless you count love. :)

one of my goals was to 'find that special someone that i'll spend the rest of my life with' and i have! it's so amazing, she's so amazing. this year i don't really care about anything else, i have a couple extra resolutions, but my main resolution is moving my butt to washington and getting a place with her, and then about a year later, taking her as my wife. she makes me want to melt! haha. i've found one of the things i really truely wanted, and needed.

i wish all of you a happy new year and hope that you all accomplish something unexpectedly great in 2008, it's so refreshing when you are actually surprised that you accomplished a big resolution you never thought you could!!

It's said that a picture is worth 1000 words. This can't be any more true with the fantastical imagery that has arisen from the stewing pot of creativity between all our members at Evoke. It pleases me to announce that Evoke has a smokin' new exhibition up for display! There are plenty of tales to be told in our newest pack, "Fable". Feel the magic as you listen to some tunes accompanied by imagery to take you to a wondrous place.

There are some new features at the site now to take note of as well, including a slideshow view and an audio player!

This exhibition's featured artist is a rising star on the digital art/graphics design scene. Give it up for João Oliveria! (biomachina) Proven to be one of our finest and only with roughly a year of experience, joão has excelled beyond your typical artist's standards. We'd also like to mention that he recently won the TAMA contest (MTV's Take Action.. Make Art) which is truly quite a feat! You can catch a great interview with this talented artist over at our site.

We have a great variety of styles (as usual) to deliver our fables to you! Ranging from some unique 3D to elaborate illustrations, beautiful photography, and a mix of audio. On our new audio player you will easily be able to listen to anything from my own smooth melodic entries, to ikaruga's auditory assault!

Evoke's working environment is really strengthening, and the bond between artists and has really stirred something sweet up from the depths; it is reflected in our artwork more than ever in this latest art pack. Don't miss it! Head over to Evoke now! Also, stop by the forums, sign up and say hi!

On behalf of Evoke, I invite you to take a trip to wonderland for the day.

Yours,
Steven Rivera (d3vulge) on behalf of the Evoke Team
